Wes Halula

Wes has led an interesting life, to say the least. And he uses his real life (and hilarious) anecdotes to draw out profound truths in an accessible (and hilarious) way.

Wes has spoken to students from junior high to college across the U.S. He has also been a keynote speaker for many corporate groups around the country. While some might think that is a wide net to cast, Wes doesn’t think junior high culture and corporate culture are all that different. In fact, he’s got stories (hilarious stories, naturally) to prove it. To Wes, a sense of humor and a passion for life go hand-in-hand. He takes on tough topics in a way that is disarming while focusing on practical answers.

Wes also wrote the screenplay for “Midnight Clear”, an award-winning film released by Lionsgate. He also founded and performs with HappyFunTime (HFT), a nationally recognized improvisational and sketch comedy troupe.

Through HFT, Wes is producing educational programming seen in almost every school in the country. HFT has also produced their own DVD “Brain Matter” available in retail outlets everywhere. Wes has also appeared in numerous commercials and feature films. He lives with his wife and two children in Los Angeles
